HTC is preparing to release a giant version of its flagship phone. And, if the latest rumor is true, it looks like it may be one of the best phones of HTC.
HTC is reportedly working on a jumbo sized version of your phone One that is known as the HTC Ace Plus Hima, "according to the blog 4GNews" (Pocket-Lint via).
The term "Hima" is rumored to be an internal code name for the next version of the HTC One, so some are speculating that the phone will Hima Ace Plus is the new HTC One Max for 2015.
The original HTC One Max, launched in 2013, is not very good. The company recently expanded its popular One M7 without adding any UI elements to take advantage of its larger screen. It feels like a big heavy hunk of metal, but it looks like HTC may have some improvements to its successor.
Most notably, the new model is rumored to have a 5.5-inch screen with a 2560 x 1440 super sharp resolution of the display. It's the same screen size as the iPhone 6 Plus, but it looks like the screen of HTC phones will have a higher resolution. The most impressive thing about it, however, that the screen is said to be Bezel-free.This means that there will not be any border along the display, allowing the display to extend from edge to edge.
The camera looks like it might be pretty hard to believe, too. The phone is expected to come with a 20-megapixel camera, which is an improvement of 16-megapixel camera on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and 8-megapixel camera on the iPhone 6 Plus.
The sheer number of megapixels in a camera is not the only factor when it comes to determining the quality of the image-that's really important dimensions of megapixels. However, other phone with 20-megapixel camera like the Sony Xperia Zv3 took great pictures.
The phone can also comes with a fingerprint scanner like its predecessor.
The specs sound impressive, but we hope the new HTC One Max is not nearly as heavy as the previous model. No word when we can expect to see it, but HTC is expected to make an announcement at the Mobile World Congress in February this year.
