Search engine war begins - Apple Vs Google
Finally on WWDC Apple announced one of the biggest future projects which can help them  to drain huge revenues as people start hate google for tracking consumer behavior and violating privacy.

Apple Launched a search engine called "Spotlight" at a pace of 3% a quarter. So guys buckle up if you have an iPhone or Mac so you'll be using it for a while for your file or contact search.

Google never stopped but now "they have to be stopped" in the mind of smartest folks in the Industry search. Google search in terms of Marketing term is a Google's Cash Cow but for Apple unfortunately it seems that google is not a advancing platform which is refining their search more accurately but they slamming massive amounts of paid inclusion.

So Paid inclusion is basically the ads that consumer think are content but are really ads.

You can even do the same thing by search with google search engine and type "macbook air" the majority of the screen will be advertisements in this example you can see the half of the search is advertisement only.

that's truly awesome by google.

On top of that <1% of the screen is dedicated towards the google ad words and telling them all insane facts to the consumers which they actually mislead people. and if you see the tiny AD and sponsored logo they are noticeable but very less by the UX design they have it .

Who will win ? Apple or Google

While google is grinding users with 90% of search results and generating ad links which actually of no worth to pay and its bit complicated towards setting up the ad words account. Apple is now building an search engine application to plain sight called "Spotlight"

Spotlight is what happens to your desktop when you hit ( Command+ Space ) or you use on your phone when you hit slide down or when you are on home screen. Its very easy to access right?

on your mobile phone it can show you a Wikipedia link or give you access to app store , pages or more integrated app which you have installed on your phone without any ads.

Every time Apple host their World Wide Developer Conference WWDC they always add couple of features to Spotlight but this announcement they have made it they turn Spotlight into whole new level of search engine. If you just need to find out the route to from place to other it can show either from Apple Maps or you can use Google Maps as well easy and fast.

Apple recently added more new features an ability to do some basic mathematics in the search bar which google added back in 2008.

Revenge from Google by Apple

Tim Cook is slowly taking revenge on Google on behalf of great Late CEO Steve Jobs but not doing directly. When Jobs found that Google was secretly going to compete with the iPhone he reportedly said :

"We didnot enter search business, Jobs said but Google entered the phone business because they have seen the potential in the market of smartphones as well & make no mistake they want to kill iPhone. We won't let them he said. Someone else asks something on a different topic but there's no getting jobs off this rant. i want to go back to that other question first and say one more thing he says. This don't be evil matra "its Bullshit"

So, Tim Cook is playing the slow revenge game on behalf of Steve Jobs by going into the search business. At this pace Apple can knock big time to Google search business not only in USA but in Entire world because the increasing users of iOS and OSX. Apple creating a next couple of years by making a search an advertising free.

At WWDC Apple made a point sayingt that they don't store or use personal information. In WWDC Spotlight Search gives a "big F**K Google" a straight kick to their nuts of Google's absured privacy practices which include searching through our emails and tracking every behaviour we make it online.

Tim Cook suggests a better way for users that provide a ability to search for free as ad-free and  data- collection- free.

Apple is now leapfrogging Google now by making search something that is built into a core to your mobile & desktop and can minimise time to go to google.com

I am not surprised if Apple brings Spotlight.com a $10m for their domain name and makes a web based search engine as a final F**K to Google.

As suggested by @jason the power move for Apple would to buy DuckDuckGo and use their excellent web search as a backlift to the powerful "One Box" search innovation to keep launching every couple of months.

"GOOGLE" We hate you.

Google always encouraged competition but somehow its good but not on the cost of grinding customers and never ending advertising assault and we all know how they have screwed over the partners from Yelp to eHow to Youtubers. its sad  to say when people lay off their people because google changed their algorithm specifically to screw with other competitors.

Management of Google stop listening and just grinding the consumers and partners shortly when they went public. Executives of Google are always odd but they were nerds who wanted to spread the wealth and build up huge partnerships.

A message to readers-  Google come to mobile market but Apple never come to search engine but now doing the same thing what Google tried to do earlier is it a good strategy by apple or they just playing TIT- FOR- TAT. ?
