Both, Apple and Microsoft have deep pockets to market their new products. Apple has already launched their iWatch and recently Microsoft launched Microsoft Band to catch the competition.

Will Microsoft beat Apple with Microsoft Band?

Apple watch and Microsoft Band can interact with the smartphone and the application count on the Apple Store and Microsoft Phone Store is increasing by each day. So how Microsoft band is better than Apple?

Sensors

Microsoft band has inbuilt 10 sensors that monitors the health parameters and provide the information seamlessly on the Microsoft smartphone. Microsoft is using Cloud platform to store this information and analyse this daily data and provides a useful graphical and textual information to end-user.

The Microsoft Band is not a watch rather than a fitness device, watch lost its relevance long time back with advent of smartphones. But a fitness band is still a fancy.

Just like Apple Watch, Microsoft Band can interact with the Windows Phone and users can view notifications, alarms, phone calls etc. With new applications, interaction between the Microsoft band and Windows Phone will improve and users will find the band more useful.

Battery Power

Microsoft has punched in more chargeable battery than Apple iWatch. A band can last for 2 days whereas the iWatch does not last for more than 12 hours - that a huge advantage.

Microsoft has finally come up with a product that does not directly complete with Apple iWatch in terms of functionality but has developed a product that can take space from users wrist - to use a band and not a watch.

Whereas Apple has placed its watch as a luxury item with $350 price tag where as Microsoft Band is for $199 - with this population Microsoft can include a wide users sensitive to pricing.

You might say I am right, you can say I am wrong, Band may fade quickly, Band may take time like Microsoft Phone. But users will really like to try Band once, that's for sure
