Apple and Samsung have hit the headlines over the last six months, as their patent trial seems to be never ending. Every time a decision is made, and it seems like we may finally hear the end of their problems, something else happens.
This week, Apple have been given the green light to stop Samsung selling their phones which infringe on their patents, such as the slide to unlock feature.
However, the phones that infringe have already been discontinued and are no longer sold by Samsung any way, so it's a bit of a half-hearted win for Apple. Nonetheless, they're showing the world the seriousness of infringing their patents, which is important for a large corporation like Apple.
Some people have slated Apple, saying it was petty and didn't achieve anything except some publicity for both brands. So have Apple gone too far this time by cancelling the sales of a phone that is no longer sold...? Whatever your beliefs, in the name of the court, Apple have won this round.
After all the commotion, we still don't think this is the end for Apple vs Samsung, so watch this space.
