My friend in Seattle is thrilled with the new definition of smart shopping with her Apple Watch. She wore her Apple Sport all last week and got used to having it on. Now she won't leave it at home, ever, she says. Kate's a commuter, a wife, a mom, and works in technology. Having no time is an understatement, for Kate. And with over 3000 apps available on the Apple Watch, she's had plenty of great shopping to try out too, that is when she can. One tap shopping with Amazon is her favorite so far. But that may get replaced when I sent her new shopping news last week. In her estimate Apple Watch apps, pay and reminders have saved her 65 minutes in time she normally spent on shopping, running errands, grabbing lunch, texts and phone calls.

Now she thinks this may be her all time favorite shopping experience. My friend likes to invest in shoes and pins frequently. She can buy online from Nordstrom and send a text alert from her watch, or set a time when she's ready to pickup her shoes. (pic of C.Louboutin sandals, 1095$ at Nordstrom)

Nordstrom is now offering curbside pickup for online orders. Shopping news from Engadget, below.

Nordstrom, Seattle- That won't be a problem if Nordstrom's latest experiment pans out. Several of the retail chain's locations (including its Seattle flagship) are testing an option that lets you pick up an internet order while staying in your car. All you do is call or text when you're near the shop, and a staffer will wait for you outside. There's no word on whether or not Nordstrom will expand the street side option, but here's hoping that it does. This would not only save you time picking up a new wardrobe when you're in a rush, but spare you from hunting for that elusive downtown parking spot.

Always leading, Nordstrom knows what we need.

Fashion, ease of shopping, seamless omni channel, no waiting, personalized service. This is what successful retailers do for their smart shoppers.

Stay tuned in, and on time. Smart shopping, Apple Watch, your wallet, your way
