One major issue for using an iPhone at work has lain in iOS' inability to manage multiple email attachments. Up until iOS 8, the user needed to either send multiple emails with single attachments or go through a third-party app to attach, for example, all at once a PDF, a Word document and a photo to a single email. Giving third-party apps access to passwords is always risky business as one is never sure how well this information is protected or where it is stored.
Fortunately and finally Apple has come to grips with the working world's needs and added this option to iOS 9!
Here's how you can take advantage of this new productivity tool:
Within an open email simply tap and hold until the magnifying glass appears, lift your finger and an option bar will appear as shown below:
To the far right, a new option appears for adding attachments. Click on this and you will be guided by default to your iCloud folder if you chose to add it during the iOS 9 update. If you store your documents elsewhere tap 'More' you will be able to add the cloud-based drives you use on iPhone. I've added both my Box and Dropbox accounts as shown below:
Though this is a revolutionary step for Apple and their "best iOS ever made", adding multiple attachments has been run-of-the-mill for many years now on other devices.
Take advantage of this new functionality and up your productivity!
