Apple announced recently in their keynote their move into wearable tech. The Apple Watch will be available for purchase on 24th April 2015. As always, we will see a score of people lining up outside Apple stores around the world on that day to get the 'greatest watch ever'
But let step back a bit. The sensation started back in 2012 when the Pebble, a e-paper watch was successfully funded for $10 million on Kickstarter and currently running for an additional round on Kickstarter - already about $18 million over their goal!

Read all about it on our blog post titled Top Industries for Wearable Technology.
